A full Pro seat is used by an inspector or other user whose role includes Pro inspection-work capabilities. Clients do not need a seat to view finalized reports shared with them.

Common questions
What trial and evaluation options are available?+
New accounts start with a 30-day free trial of the Calculators suite. After the trial, subscriptions are billed monthly or annually (annual saves you ~17%), and you can cancel anytime. Inspection Pro works differently: it offers a paid 30-Day Pro Evaluation for $99 instead of a free trial, fully credited toward your first invoice when you subscribe.
What if my Calculators Team grows past 3 users?+
For the Calculators Team plan, add users any time from your account settings. Each additional Calculators user is $20/month, prorated by Stripe for the remainder of the billing period. This does not apply to Inspection Pro seats.
What's the difference between Calculators Solo and Calculators Team?+
On the Calculators plans, Solo is designed for one inspector and Team supports shared use for multiple users. Both include the same calculators. Calculators Team adds live shared inspections — your whole crew can work the same job at once — plus a shared saved-job library and a per-row audit trail. Calculators Team includes 3 users for $69/month and each additional Calculators Team user is $20/month.
What's the deal with Diagram Builder?+
On the Calculators plans, Diagram Builder is an optional per-seat add-on. It's free for your first 90 days so you can try it on real reports; after that, keep it for $12/month (or $120/year) per seat, or let it lapse. Every report you share can carry a clean bottom-plate diagram — your customers' engineers will ask where you got it. Diagram Builder is included with Inspection Pro.
What about the Settlement engine?+
On the Calculators plans, Settlement Engine is an optional per-seat add-on that's free for your first 90 days, so you can run real Annex B settlement evaluations and see whether it fits your workflow. After 90 days, keep it for $12/month (or $120/year) per seat, or let it lapse. Settlement Engine is included with Inspection Pro.
What about Inspection Pro?+
Inspection Pro is in open beta now. It bundles the complete inspection workflow — every inspection section from General through Bottom X & Y and settlement, photos with AI caption suggestions, findings with AI write-up suggestions, branded PDF + Word reports, CAD (DXF) diagram export, teams with roles, and a per-row audit trail. Founding rates are limited to the first 10 firms. We'll give you at least 90 days' notice before any pricing change: $299/month for Pro Solo or $749/month for Pro Team with 3 full Pro seats included, billed monthly. Once all ten founding places are taken, Pro is $399/month for Pro Solo and $999/month for Pro Team. Settlement and Diagram Builder are included — no separate add-ons at the Pro tier.

How do I try Inspection Pro?+
Click "Start the 30-Day Pro Evaluation" in the Inspection Pro section above — $99, card required, once per organization, and it starts as soon as payment succeeds. Whether you're new to FieldSight or already on a Calculators plan, it's the same evaluation: the full Pro workflow for 30 days, AI features included, on your existing account and data if you have one. You get unlimited draft previews and one finalized report — with both its PDF and Word exports — during the evaluation; finalizing additional reports unlocks when you subscribe. Convert during the evaluation or within seven days after it ends and the $99 is automatically credited to your first invoice. You can subscribe to Inspection Pro directly from FieldSight during or after your evaluation. If you already have a FieldSight account, your Pro purchase uses that same account and existing data. An existing Calculators subscription keeps running either way, and nothing happens to your saved work if you decide Pro isn't for you.
How do the AI features work, and where does my data go?+
AI suggestions (photo captions and finding write-ups) run only when you press Generate — nothing is sent automatically. The selected photo and its entered context go to a third-party AI provider to produce a suggestion, which you accept, edit, or dismiss; nothing enters a report without your review. Providers process content under business API terms that do not train their public models on it. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
